Bryan Docobo is the owner of his solo practice, The Docobo Law Firm, PA, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this capacity, he represents clients in such matters as injunction hearings, property claims, and personal injury cases. Committed to supporting his community outside of the legal realm, Bryan Docobo supports Insight for the Blind.
Founded in 1975, Insight for the Blind provides talking books for the Library of Congress so that readers who are visually impaired or blind can enjoy reading materials. To continue its mission, the organization relies on the support of volunteer readers for the many books recorded by the organization.
Those who wish to volunteer as readers must undergo training, which consists of shadowing an experienced narrator team until they are ready to record themselves. Most volunteers work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, and recording sessions are held in two-hour blocks between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Volunteers are also welcome to support Insight for the Blind outside the recording studio. The organization strives to offer a wide range of jobs that fit volunteers’ varying schedules and skills.
Those looking to volunteer as readers or in another capacity can contact Harry Sharp by calling (954) 522-5057 during normal business hours.
