Seminoles football fans have a lot to celebrate coming off the 2015 regular season, which gave the Seminoles 10 wins and only two losses and left them in second place overall in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). In addition to their successes as a team, several Florida State football players are celebrating postseason awards for their individual performances during the season.
Included among those recognized for outstanding play are Roberto Aguayo, Roderick Johnson, and Jalen Ramsey, who were all named to the USA TODAY College Football All-America Second Team. Only five other teams besides Florida State had three or more players receive All-America honors, and the Seminoles are the only team in the ACC this year with that distinction. Aguayo, Johnson, and Ramsey were also named to the All-ACC First Team along with teammates Dalvin Cook and Niles Lawrence-Stample.
